wont be out there on saturday, but i will be out there on wednesday. this weekend im going to hang some stands on a piece of property i lease in southern illinois. i'll share pics of those ill monsters when i get back.

us guys who hunt assumpink on this forum should get together for a forum hunt at assumpink some time.

didnt get to go out this past weekend, but im going to try to get out tommorrow afternoon. ill keep everyone posted.

had a good and bad night at assumpink yesterday. had 3 does and two fawns come by at 5pm. shot and missed the first doe twice. can you believe it!! had a 5 point and a doe come in at about 7pm eating acorns till dark.

not an excuse but i figured out how i missed. dont know how it happened, but my sight shifted over about an inch and i didnt realize it until i missed. i'll have all of that stuff fixed for my next time out

just got word from a buddy of mine that he got his doe.

went out last night, saw a doe and 2 fawns. i was going to shoot the doe, but she spotted me 25feet up. she's been around the block bc she didnt even give me a chance to take my bow off of my hook. later those 2 fawns came down the same trail right underneath my stand out into a corn field.

oh i cant forget the snapping turtle i saw swimming up the creek 15 yards from me.

all in all a very eventful night. i'll get one next time
