Yup thats one of my spots. I mainly hunt from where the RR tracks cross the road down to the entrance to the Saxton Falls Gravel Pit. I only started hunting it last year. The number of deer is looking promising. Hopefully this year will be a good one.

You call him Chip, I know him as Chet, if we are talking about the same guy he's got twins and a little girl and drives a green ford expedition?

it used to be my main spot but then all the dirt bike riders started riding there and the place seems like all the deer just left. it went from seeing deer all day to not seeing anything. i guess they went to toal nocturnal over there from all the riders during the day. i just stopped going there. my favorite spot was down along rt80 by the dirt road that went down towards a backway into the quarry. guys used to goose hunt all the time under the 80 bridge there.

yea,

thats flanders-drakestown road. i got permission from chip around 10 years ago but never really hunted there.

i see deer there on occasion, yesterday there was a small heard out there when i went to VOTE FOR FORRESTER[mad] at the middle school.

if your thinking of asking him for permission i don't know how you'll make out. some of the tresp [no swearing please] signs there look like there is a gun club in place. btw, i live on prospect ave off of mt. olive road.

I had Chester mow somw fields for me. At the time he had a club in there. I would like to get in the back fields to goose hunt. Think I'll take a ride over there today.
hey SxS who has the pond ( the old scout camp) down on the corner now? I'd like to trap mink down in there.
