I sat out in the ground blind up in Flatbrook this morning, no luck. Talk about downpour!!! After I got out of the woods @ about 9:30 am, I took a ride down Old Mine Rd, past Millbrook, all the way thru Worthington St. Forest. No deer in sight, but I did see a few trucks with climbers in the back. Anybody ever hunt around Worthington?? The scenery looks incredible!

njlefty - I've been hunting up there for 24 years. Never hunted along Oldmine Road though, mostly through the Flatbrook-Roy/Stokes area and down arpund the Cemetary. I really enjoy the woods up there.

I didn't hunt, but when I walked out to my garage to see how badly it was flooded, there were two deer stadning in the field behind it. That was at about 5:45pm.

I spent 2 hours in the woods scouting.I like scouting in foul weather. You can get around the woods without be detected.

MY cousin took a ride up to Flatbrook today also and didn't see 1 deer. All he said he saw was turkeys.
