i was introduced to the nj quail project by a ubnj friend. i was telling him about a project we were starting on the property i hunt. we want to start releasing quail to try and bring them back. we still have wild birds down here, but not many. these birds are not to be hunted, this is just for the quail.
i was told there are a few places that have the njqp's help.
anyone on here working with them?

i talked to joe yesterday for 45 minutes and have had emails going with pola.
we are looking to get a program started on the land i hunt. i think joe is coming over to walk the place with me in the next week. then we may have a speaker come over for a wildlife meeting for the land owners.
i can say Joe has the passion for the quail to come back. i just hope our land can support it. with the forestry program, the row crops and the crp fields, this should be a great place to make little birds.
joe told me of a couple good success stories around me in south jersey, hope we can become one of those.
