If you hunt zone 4, where about in the zone do you hunt, how long have you hunted there, and what have you seen there as far as the size of the bucks(rack/weight), and bears?

I have seen some nice rack bucks in the past, some nice bears. This past season I didn't see any rack bucks, the biggest was a 4 pointer, saw about 5 different bears this year , the biggest being 250lbs. but didn't see bear after the 3rd week of October.

I thought I replyed to your post on this before, but I don't see it in this thread.

Not to try to top Gunnyfern, but I have been hunting zone 4 on and off since about 1966 mostly near Walpack Center.

In fact I just took Drag goose hunting on the big field just across the bridge from the village. There were tons of deer beds on that field.

One place near there used to be like a high school reunion for me in the 1970's. Last year I met the son of a guy I went to high school with on the Buttermilk Falls Road.

I also hunt an area much further South known as Paquarry Flats. That is the other side of the mountain from Blairstown. I have only been hunting there since the 90's. I have had a lot of sucess there.
