Went out striper fishing again this morning with my brother. Man I have been fishing along time, but I have never caught my limit of b [no swearing please] in 5 minutes before. Literally as soon as the bait hit the bottom, WHAM!!! We were back at the dock in 2 1/2 hours. We couldn't keep 2 rods in the water. Though most of them were slot fish, we did manage 2 over 34 inches. Now, it's time to shoot a buck!
Romer shoal, everything on clams. Use the fresh stuff, nothing frozen. I try to keep them as fresh as possible, opening 0nly 4 or 5 at a time. the action was so good this morning that I coudn't open them quick enough.
