I found a thousand rounds of 45 acp aluminum case fmj. The case cost $279 free shipping from target sports USA which i found on ammoseek. I quickly jumped on it and i'm glad i did cause it was gone a minute later. Has anyone ever shot alum cased ammo? I went on some gun forums and most said it was fine and they've never had a problem. There were a few that said sometimes it can cause ejection problems due to how the alum case handles the heat. I have shot steel cased ammo with no problems. I know the alum cases can't be reloaded but i don't reload anyway. The only negative i see right now is that you can't use them at gun shop ranges because they can't sell them and they don't want to take the time to separate them from the brass. I shoot at range 14 a lot so i will use them there or just keep the case for a worst case scenario situation. What do you guys think?
