alpine butcher here in blairstown really did a nice job for me this year..deer sticks, hot sticks, sausage, keilbasi, hamburger mix and meatloaf mix..and hotdogs...all taste excellent and done real quick
If I remember, they're kind of on the expensive side. I brought in 75lbs of meat one year and it cost me just over $200 to have it processed. But I've been back since... they're worth the money. I normally have deer sticks, venison hot dogs, venison bologna, and venison kielbasa made.
I went there with the wife on Saturday. Man they are awesome. We bought so many different things...brotwurst, hot dogs, etc. I see they have all different kinds of wild game too. Does anyone else go there? I know dirtfarmer does...lol
bishops is also by the trtain station. my friend lives on railroad ave right across the street from the train station. i think bishops is behind the train station. he uses them as well as another friend.
UNLESS THEY MOVED - I KNOW ROCHE HAS BEEN THERE FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME AND HE IS INVOLVED WITH THE STATE - DEER THAT ARE KILLED IN HUNTS LIKE WATCHUNG MOUNTAIN ARE BROUGHT THERE AND HE BUTCHERS THEM - HE DOES ALL TYPES OF BUTCHERING AND HAS SLAUGHTERED A FEW COWS/PIGS SHEEP FOR MY COUSINS
Agreed ...Alpine is a bit expensive but they make great meats! ...my dad is a butcher in northcentral PA ...he makes many of the same products for alot less ...but hey this NJ ...everything is more expensive
