Hi,
Was looking for some recommendations from anyone who has taken some whitetails trips out of state. Was thinking of Illinois or Saskatchewan in the next year. I am looking for anyone that has actually gone to a place, and would highly recommend one from experience.

Try Carters Hunting Lodge in Illinois and King Buck Safaries in Saskatchewan. Both are the best and offer the best chance of taking a huge whitetail. Just google both for their web sites. Good luck I have hunted a couple of time with both.

Ive hunted with "Buckhorn Outfitters" for 6 years. Located in Greene County, Illinois.
Ive killed 3 Bucks. A 141" 151" and a 181". The other 3 years I had shot opportunities at 140" + Bucks but couldn't make it happen. He only takes 6 hunters per week for 4 or 5 weeks.
Its a Trophy hunt with a minimum of 140". 1000s of acres and plenty of stands. Comfortable cabin and good food. Call rob at 912 288 0035 for info.

Ask each outfitter to give you references and call them.. best way to get the truth about the experience..
Hey better yet call their unsuccessfull clients get that list to see what they say. If an unsuccessfull client gives good reviews then thats better than a sucessfull client who shot something nice and has forgotten the bad parts of their experiance it there was any?:p

If you're looking to go to Canada, you should check out Keeley Lake Lodge in Saskatchewan. There are tons of huge deer up there, and Charlie (the owner) and Rich (runs the lodge) are really great guys and will take good care of you. I've got a bunch of trail cam and harvest pictures from up there I can try to post later, some really unbelievable animals.

There is a site you can go to that tells about outfitters the good the bad and the ugly.

Just remember theres a lot of ugly and a lot to watch out about.

Once gave an outfitter a deposit at a Harrisburg show several years ago and that was the last I herd of it. Was supposed to go 1 on 1 to yellowstone me and him on horsback 2 weeks archery elk then come out and goat hunt a couple day. (Prairie goats)

The guide worked for the pres. of the MT guides assoc. and I knew this guide who became and outfitter and the dealk still went south so you just don't know what could happen. I lost 500.00 this guide who turned outfitter was BS.

You can never find out enough tp protect yourself it seems in this world.

You can also have a good reputable outfit and run into bad weather or other circumstances to ruin your trip while your on it?:p
