Government prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed yesterday about the ultimate goal of a group of six animal rights activists on trial in a federal courtroom in Trenton.
The idea was to stop Huntingdon Life Sciences, a British company with a Somerset County laboratory, from testing drugs and chemical compounds on thousands of rats, dogs and monkeys.
