Does anyone else pull their hair out at the mere fact Campbell has the so-called "last word" over this? His complete disreguard of the Fish and Game council is so frustrating to me. If he continues with ignoring the council on bears, what's next? No deer, pheasant or turkey season because the anti-hunters pressure him enough?

I'm not even looking to hunt bear. I might give it a shot (pardon the pun) in the future, but I am so frustrated about this because banning the hunting of bear could lead to the banning of other seasons, despite what the state biologists and F&G council say. All we need is to get one of these "bear huggers" into Campbell's position and there could be an outright ban on hunting all together. I'm just so frustrated with the whole situation.

I'm sick of people saying Corzine is a "respected businessman" and he "knows how to run a corperation." The State of NJ is not a corperation and we are not his employees. We live here, we work here and we hunt here. It's about time we took a stand against all these liberal bozos who want to ban safe and legal endeavors that we have a right to persue.
The idea of selling off state land is not only stupid, it's dangerous. I also don't think that hunters would be the only ones effected by that. Hikers, campers and out of state tourism would suffer greatly. Wildlife would be greatly effected. I wonder if the BEAR group would denounce the selling off of bear habitat to developers. Probably not.
