Aun: A chance to see the Delaware stocked with shad

Anglers interested in seeing a minor piece of history in the making might consider a trip to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area this afternoon.
There, at Smithfield Beach on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River, biologists from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will be stocking the river with shad. It will be a first for the commission, fisheries biologist Michael Hendricks said.
