Yeah, I just looked at the time, sucks when I can't get out!!!

Just got back in from an afternoon sit and saw eight deer total. 4 does and 4 fawns. The problem was they were coming toward me facing me the whole way. I drew before the lead doe of the first group stepped out into a clearing 15 yards away. she stopped but I had no shot. Then all of a sudden they spooked and scurried directly under my tree and stopped forty yards away on the other side. My self imposed limit is thirty yards. I dont know why they spooked since they were upwind and were'nt anywhere near the trail I came in on. they didnt even look up at me???????? The next set of 3 came down the same way and didnt spook yet offered me no shot at all. Oh well I'll get them next time.

Saw 3 does, and a spike, shot a doe, we are still thinning the does out. Buddy saw a nice 6 on another stand.

Dead deer down.....Told those SOB's they had their Mulligan on opening day.

35 yrds 1/4 away. 85gr spitfire, piled up in 30 yards. Picture later, I'm beat. Gut it, tag it, drag it, check it, to the butchers & it's 9:30 PM and I just walked in the door!
