Went fishing in 50 degree Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, cloudy day with a light south wind. Caught and released 5 gizzard shad, 4 yellow perch, 3 black crappies, a white perch, a golden shiner and a shiner with Walmart red worm 🪱 halves on two gold hooks and an unpainted 1/32 oz leadhead jig on 4 lb test line and an 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line. Used up all of my worms 🪱. Landed 1,102 fish with 5 containers of worms this year. Will try ultralight jigging without bait for awhile now. Saw my first osprey at the lake today for this year. Took pics.
