3 hens and 2 jakes...land owner told me the longbeards were in his yard and walked past my truck and across an open field. Maybe they'll come past me on Thursday.

Went out for a couple hours this morning, heard a few gobbles and a couple assembly yelps but relatively quiet. Did spot a hen with a tom in full strut on the way out and I managed to sneak out without them seing me. Wound up being late for work...oops.[hihi] Oh well, at least I've got a setup for tomorrow morning. How'd you do Bob?

Called in 9 different hens, had a tom fired up & HOT! Only problem was the next land owner fenced property w/ a 6' chain link fence. The tom kept on trying to leave & I'd call him back . Finally he head off & I moved along w/ him. That's when I found the fence. There was no way he could get to me.
