As I had posted before it is important for all NJ Sportsmen and Women to voice their support of our game codes. It will also give you the opportunity to voice your comments for things you would like to have changed. We can request that the Bear season be reopened. I for one would like to see the Dove season reopened. Some of us have a crossbow issues both pro & con. We can show the Governor our overall support of the Sunday bow bill and also the 150' rule change.
This is the place to show the general public and the media our strength and unity. We know that the anti's will be there in force with their cardboard charts,their emotionally based data that they call science,their crying children asking us not to kill Bambi and Thumper, and now their newest addition the scared horseback riders.
Like it or not The Division of F & W along with it's Council is the only one we have and we all must protect it from the opposition. In 2007 they tried to destroy the Division and they failed but they are still a threat to our Freedoms.

The Proposed Amendments to the 2009-2012 Game Code were published in the April 6, 2009 NJ Register. Publication of the proposal opens the 60-day public comment period which includes a public hearing on Tuesday, April 21 at the State Museum in Trenton at 6:30 p.m.
