Any of these Bows would be great for your Wife. I would go with the Browning Wasp 56" 36#@28" then drop 3# per inch. The 56" is if She has a short draw. Now this is what I would get if it was me, for her it would be best if she can try them all.

Now for you the samething would do. For the first timer I would go no higher then 50# bow.

Post the bows you get please.

Outlaw thats hard to say. A bow that is great for you, Your friend my not like. For a tree stand I would go with a short bow. 51" through 58". If your friend would like a New custom bow that is short and sweet I would go with any Shrew Bow. I have a old one and the waiting list is about 2 years.

Also Drag & Outlaw; If you to get one of these bows check them for stress cracks, peeling, spliting. If you do get one of these use this Chart and go 5# lighter for arrows Recurves you might loss a inch long bows 2" in draw.

Mystic,

I was also looking at these bows. My issue is with draw length. I have a 33" dl on a compound, and a 31ish with a recurve. Any of these bows stack less than the others? I would love something that would be around 55 lbs at my draw.

Thanks,

Dan; I really don't know. You would have to try them and find the one for you. Remember that all the bows are set @ 28", You would have to add 3" to that so add 9#'s to any bows weights to get the draw weight out of these bows.

Example: Bear Tiger cat 58" - 45# - $80.
for you Dan would be Bear Tiger cat 58" - 54#. good luck and let me know what you get.
