Only heard one shot today. Wind is brutal saw 3 sets of bear tracks walking in and 4 deer tracks all frozen in the snow.

Heading out for afternoon hunt. Hoping this colder weather with combination of wind laying down mid afternoon will have the deer moving from 3-5PM. So far, I haven't even picked up the gun to look thru the scope. No deer yet. But you got to be out there so it's hunting I will go this afternoon.
I couldn't do an AM hunt today so I let a hunting buddy who hasn't killed a buck in 8 years sit my spot. He killed a nice public land 8 pt. It a hot spot . Monday I killed my bear from same spot. My other buddy sat there on Monday and an hour after i killed my bear he shot a small buck. 2 bucks and a bear from the same spot all on public land.

Zone 10. At work today.
Told a friend of mine he could sit in my stand today if he wanted.
He killed a 7 pointer at 6:55.[up]
At 7:05 a doe and big wide 6 came in. He watched them for a half hour until they walked off.
He said the deer a moving around quite a bit today.[up]
