Just buy a super peep and be done with it.
Most target archers use them. they have screw in apertures. You can run it wide open with no insert for hunting 1/4 opening. or screw in anything you like 3/16, 1/8,
The thing costs $13 at Lancaster and it much better than those G5 Meta peeps, They have a ton of reflection in them, too much shine.
