In my 28yrs of bow hunting experience, I can say that all of the above is spot on and great advice. A few things really helped me when I was fighting through deer/buck fever. Practicing on 3d deer...

Ok not a problem, totally understand. The 50cc worked great for my daughter till she hit 11yrs, then it was a bit small. She now rides the 125cc and will have it for years.

Nice buck and great shot! It was nice to read an enjoyable thread and not see a bunch of negatives.

I have had a 3" Remington 1187 for 26yrs and have killed just about everything you can hunt with it in NJ including sporting clays. Friends have the 3.5" guns which are nice but I still seem to kill...

#4 buck sounds good in theory due to the number of BB's contained in the shell but I have seen many deer shot over the years with 3" #4 buck which didn't bleed well at all. I saw a 6pt shot 40yds...

I don't see the deer numbers you do but have a similiar problem. The use of cameras has definitely changed how I hunt. I use to take a nice buck if he came by or shoot just about anything if it...
