will it go in sand without pedaling?, slight upgrades without pedaling?
I would use like you do for on road use and for hunting i would rather not pedal and sweat. ( plus tough to pedal with backpack or stand on back)
I was looking at the rad Rover and also Bolton bikes with a 1000 watt mid drive.
I am leaning towards the mid drive because they are geared lower more suited to low speed off road use from what i have read.
Through the woods if i can go 5-10 mph without pedaling in light sand for 2 miles I am a happy guy. I would also you it at the boardwalk in Seaside and pedal
Bolton has pedal assist and throttle. I agree about the price but i figure for and extra $800 or so i can get something i will not question if it can pull my fat a$$ around. I am 6'2" and 265 lbs so i need torque
My 63yr old co worker got a Rambo bike a few years ago with a little trailer and he loves it. He turkey hunts all over and tows around his kayak with it and hauls deer. He’s met up with me for waterfowl hunting with his 10ft kayak in places I couldn’t get to with my beavertail unless i dragged it for a few miles. The e bikes seem to be a good investment...
