Went snow goose hunting at the Delaware Bayshore yesterday afternoon on the incoming high tide. Put out one decoy, then called a flock of four into shooting range with my old wood Faulk's CH-44. Dropped one into the bay, then the other 3 flew higher and circled back to check their buddy. I was able to wade out into the bay and retrieve my 6.6 lb adult male greater snow goose that had a stained face. Saw more gulls than geese. Got snow geese (nearly 1,500) in NJ every season since they became legal to hunt a very long time ago after being protected for 32 years.
