This Hunting Club is owned by Peter Kellogg #117 0f 400 on the Forbes wealthiest list.

Looks like English style hunting either that or only the prestigious hunt with Ties on.

I have driven by this place during his charity events and the place is filled with actors and and sports players with $100k cars parked all over the place. I also see a ton of live and Dead pheasant all over the Rd by the club. I heard it costs $150K a year to be a member of this club (Rumor) anyone on here familiar with this club it is only like 4-5 miles from my house.

Yes I did notice that. I also noticed they had a ton of Ducks. I don't think I have seen that many Ducks in all the coves put together on LK.Hopatcong. He must stock these duck on his ponds or let them out of a box when the shooters get there. The freaking clothes they are wearing are killing me.

It is like a tower shoot but instead of pheasants they are using ducks.

TJC Hunts there. He goes to the clean up hunts after the shoots. I think he pays $600 for all the birds he can shoot. Price includes ammo, lunch, and processing I believe. He went twice last year. First day I think his party shot 120 birds and about the same the second time. If I remember correctly.
It isn't the catch or the kill that makes for a great outdoor experience but enjoying all that God has created for us.

We do the walk up hunts. It's not quite the same as the clean up hunts after an event. The walk ups are just that, you make reservations and you get to hunt the property for 1/2 day. They do not release the day you are doing the walk ups. You are simply hunting the leftovers. There are tons of them.
Cost is $300 a 1/2 day. Ammo is provided. You must use break open guns. No semis or pumps allowed.

We hunted the place 4 times last year. Already have the first 2 hunts scheduled for this year. Most likely will do another 3 or so after the first of the year.

It's a lot of fun. Tons of birds, lots of shooting and a real work out for the dogs.

Members dues aren't quite $150K but it is more than I can afford.

I lived down the street from Hudson Farm for 11 years. Kellog restored the buildings and grounds to better than original condition. He purchased and continues to purchase several hundred surrounding acres with the only intention to preserve as a buffer to the farm. He's extremely generous to the surrounding communities. He keeps Hudson Farm as his own little Disney World of bird hunting and has a nationally ranked sporting clays course.

As a little side note, Hudson Guild Farm was the place where the founders of the Appalachian Trail first met and came up with the concept.
