    Applying for FID

I am coming home this weekend from College and would like to apply for my FID Card. I was wondering would I be able to do it on a Sunday? Or does it have to be during the week? Also, I am in Sparta and would like to know how long the department usually takes to issue, do they take 30 days or longer? Anyone from here if you’ve gone through the same process please let me know your waiting time.. thank you

You can start the process on line from college. NJSP.org Most likely has to be turned in during regular business hours and takes longer than 30 days.

Waiting times vary from place to place, I usually can get mine in about 3 to 4 months after turning in the paperwork, while my daughter had hers in 3 weeks from when she turned hers in. I'm in Passaic County, she's in Burlington County.

I paid $20 and applied for a replacement NJ Firearms ID card in February and didn't get it from Detective Kevin Starkey in the Trenton PD yet. Police can infringe my right to keep and bear arms without any repercussions.

Cops who total 2 police cars, then sue the city, pd and insurance company may have personal issues that interfere with the performance of their job.
