    You do not need a firearm purchasers identification card to own a firearm. There is no gun registration in NJ. The gun belongs to you now and the 2nd amendment gives you that right. Don't let the hoop jumpers scare you into doing something stupid. The gun is your and has always been yours if anyone asks which no one should. If you need the gun fixed and are in the Monmouth County area I will take a look at it for you for free. I do Gunsmithing as a hobby. .22 Rifles are my specialty.
