    Coyote Areas

    Hey y'all,
Seeing as deer season is winding down, I've been getting into coyote hunting to cure the itch until turkey and bass season haha. Me and a buddy of mine have been going out for a few weeks now with no dogs down yet but we have had answers to howling and the rabbit squealer, they just wont come into the open tending to stay a few hundred yards in the woods. Can anyone recommend areas that would be good for a coyote hunt??

    Thanks for any info
    Ted

edge of fields, power line runs. Biologists told me this from the game commission. Get your self a pump rifle or semiauto rifle, something that will reach out a bit. .243 or a .25-06.

Thank you everyone for the advice, from what Ive read it looks like we're too deep in a field and not close enough to the woods line. Gonna change up tactics and hopefully they pay off, might even try my buddy as bait trick as well haha. Thanks again!!

Stop thinking like a hunter..that is the number 1 thing most do wrong ,think like a trapper and you will find yourself having better success .look at the trappers lounge , a trapper has a fox or yote stick his head in a small loop ,a hunter is shooting 200 yards and can't get a shot.
