    looking for answers

I will be moving to south jersey for work around July of next year. Is there anywhere that i can pick up some maps that show public/state property boundaries? Also if there is public land in the area, which ones to stay away from and which ones produce? I generally hunt about every species allowed. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know a whole lot about S Jersey but you can start here, there are maps and stuff that should be pretty helpful.

    Good luck!

I appreciate the honesty but I don"t have much choice in where i live. Good thing is I have access to land in VA as well as NC so it may be worth the trip down if things are not looking good there.

Lots of of good hunting and plenty of state land, plenty of other hunters also, just need to scout and go deep in. Fall bow and winter bow is the better time.

If you look 6 posts below this one in the forum there is a post "More NJ Hunting Maps made by using Google Earth" if you have a gps that is a great resource created by cripple shot. I downloaded some of the wma boundaries the other day for some new wma's I plan to scout. If you don't have a GPS then as Double G mentioned the state F&G site has all the WMA topo maps online... but some of them are of dubious quality/resolution. As for State forests and such, some are online on a one-off basis but they won't necessarily have the allowable hunting area boundaries on them. For the state forests I'm interested in, I've only been able to get useful hunting maps from the actual park offices. Good Luck.

Plenty of good hunting around EHT. If you need paper maps last I knew you can still get them at state parks offices.

Moving somewhere between Cape May and Atlantic City. Just started looking for a place to live.

Hunterdan: My wife is from Jersey and is schooling me on the Jersey Devil as I type. Don't know if i wanna go in the woods anymore!
