    I am the kid! Lol I want this one property so bad that I saw a huge 8 point just driving on a highway by there, and I know there's bigger ones hiding in there
    You can play the kid and I'll play the Dad....and once we get the property I'm grounding you.....

    I think a lot of people see a nice property and dont bother asking because they figure someone must have already asked and that someone must be already hunting there. Thats not always the case and you will never know unless you ask. The worse they can say is no.

    You have to impress the landowner at how serious you take the sport of hunting. Knock on the door wearing a full ghille suit to make a good impression. Also tie a road killed skunk around your neck. Tell him you are serious about covering up your human scent, in order to get close to deer to make humane kill shots. You will be hunting in no time!

    ok i have another question. where do i ask for permission? there's usually just a stand that some kid attends or not houses on the property. then what?

    ask the kid how you can get ahold of the farmer/landowner,I wouldn't tell him why,you want to talk to him directly.
