More NJ Hunting Maps made by using Google Earth

For those still using Google Earth to look at the WMAs or the Zone Outlines you're hunting or would like to hunt I decided to follow along with what George had started (post found here) and continue on making them.

Just a side note...I'm not to familiar on how much money is involved on running my own webpage so I created one using Google Sites.

please take your time. I am not looking forward to more folks having an easy way to find new spots with out doing any of the work to find them. I don't think people value the spots if they don't have to do the work to find them for them selve. people like my self hav spent most of our lives taking boat rides all year just to scout for new places and figure out how to propery set up for that paticular spot. only to have some lazy Idiot who dosn't have a clue about the area (that looked good on a map) ruin the area for people who have put the time and effort into learning the area fist hand. google earth and plastic decoys are some of the worst things to happen to hunting. you have to spend the time to scout for your self. and learn how to do it right for them selves with out wrecking the area for everyone else. if you make it easy any idiot will try to do it.

    Glad some liked.

As for flip I can totally understand your concern. If there is an overwhelming majority concerned about this I'll gladly take it down. As I even found myself undecided on showing the "Public Area" I have hunted thinking this may ruin it.

I'd love to hear both sides...

Google earth is a tool(I also use bing maps). If Im looking at a new piece of ground, that is the first tool I use. You can gain a lot of knowledge about a particular area before you even leave your house. It saves a lot of time as you can focus your scouting efforts on better areas. You would be an idiot not to use it and you still need to know what your looking for that makes that area worth walking.Unfortunately, sounds like you hunt public land. Public land is open to all. There are some good areas of public land if you know how to find them and using Google earth is a starting point. I spent a lot of time on google earth and Bing before I bought my farm. It allows me to see the entire area surrounding my property 800 miles away.
You need to use all your tools in your toolbox. They all serve a purpose
