Ive spent quite a bit at harbor freight over the years. For my purposes it suits me fine! But I never ever buy anything without a coupon. All their stuff rotates on sale with coupons.

zip strips, bungi cords, tarps, throw away paint brushes, wire and wire connectors are just a few things I buy there. I can always find something that works fine and I don't need to spend the extra money for.

With that said, all of my tools are snap-on and craftsman power tools.

Never shopped there and never will. I only buy quality tools and I try to only buy products made in USA. Shopping there only supports shit made in China and further destroys our economy and American jobs!! Think about this if you are on unemployment, you're only hurting yourself.

I love Harbor Freight tools.I use them for anchors on my boat.Anyone who uses tools for a living shouldn't buy that Red Chinese crap. You are taking your life in your hands.Typical reason we lost our manufacturing jobs in this country is people are willing to buy by price and not quality.Sorry boys I am just old school.

i do all the time , and I'm a contractor. a skilled worker doesn't need the best tools. he can work with whats on hand and do a great job. just look at the roman empire built with a rock and some metal.that said there is stuff that is worthless in that place but try it, break it, and return it no questions asked.

My only experience with their tools... a nightmare.

My father-in-law insisted that I use his cheapo never-used bearing pulling kit from them, instead of me going and buy a good set ....

Trying to remove the clutch pilot bearing from the end of the crankshaft on my Ford F250 V8 .... the metal of the removal tool was so soft, it started to deform, which damaged the bearing edges. A simple 1-minute job turned into a nightmare.

Never again. I only buy quality tools. Someday, my sons will get my tools.

    Good luck.

I have a bunch of their stuff .. just know what you are buying. Often they have three grades of the same tool so if you want better and pay more you can. I have several pnumatic nailers from framers to roofers and finishers ... figured if it worked for one job it paid for itself and they are all still nailing ... several jobs and a few loan outs.
