Can you get a permit to hunt at night on Township land

    I was leaving my spot today and right across is a bean filed where i see a lot of the big buck from my property in there at night and tonight i see a truck in the middle of the field with a spot light 2 cracks and the 1 doe falls over and they chase after the other is this legal on township owned land? Should I call someone? Never seen anyone hunt this land in the 2 years i been hunting across the street

    sounds like you saw poachers report it and if they had permission then they wont get into trouble but most likely they were scumbags jacking deer

    ok i will call tomorrow and can you use a rifle with permission cause it was just a little crack and there a lot of houses around there they were shooting towards

    cause i cant see someone having the balls to go in the middle of a field with big lights with houses and cars driving by them without having permission

    Not 100% sure but I think you can shoot deer under spotlight with crop damage permits but they have to be left for F&G to inspect

    I think you are right, but that's for farmers on their farms. He said this is township property, and they where near houses.
