Wow nice looking bucks...Good luck
all these were taken from same location in the past week. notice one thing in common in all these bucks? all at nite. i sit here all day and see nothing. I dont even see a doe or a scrapper yet at nite I get 200 pics a nite.. what can I do????
in time we will get them. I told you what the deal is . To much Pressure !! Happy Turkey Day
yea,,,,,u 2. its gota b that guy that hunts next 2 us...
I watched two bucks bedded down on Monday afternoon, and both didn't get up until about 30 minutes before dark. I would say to put on a couple small two man drives and get them up during the daylight hours and hope for the best.
Good luck, there are a couple of good ones there!
Ah, nocturnal activity.
It may be that these particular bucks dont make it to your area until after dark. They may be bedding far off, staging and then slowly meandering down your way.
Or, if you're baiting..you may be leaving a TON of scent in the woods. The deer may see you go in. They likely have your hunting times on a pattern and know when you will be where.
If the hunting pressure is heavy, especially AROUND your property..DONT set foot on your land for a week. Let it rest. The hunters on bordering land will force the doe to seek refuge in a safe area, and the bucks will follow.
Remember, a mature, dominant buck will NEVER surrender his area for anything, not even due to hunting pressure. He will simply avoid you, like you wouldnt believe.
Let it rest and the slip in after a week. Hopefully the doe are there and relaxed and the bucks want some booty.
Best of luck to you !!
I'm the smile on the face of every criminal you'll ever acquit. I'm the things you've done that you'll never admit....
stop baiting and watch what happens. mature bucks become hip to your patterns and travel at night to avoid contact with any human activity...
what i was thinkingTo much Pressure
I think there is too much pressure around me. I rarely hunt there maybe once a week and bait 2x a week. so there is no pressure from me. as far as sent i never go in there unless im wearing rubber boots. i have backed out of there earlier in the season for 2 weeks not doing anything. still didnt help, i have a guy that hunts the bordering property that is very unprofessional. he is always hunting the same spot no matter what the wind is doing and always riding the quad all around. i think this guy has the deer messed up. preseason scouting i had big bucks moving thru there all day. now nothing at all during light. i think this guy is messin me all up
all you can do is sit and wait. sooner or later one will make that mistake. good luck
OR just find out where they are comming from and move in!
