Looking to deer hunt near Bass River State Forest looking forward guidance

Recently rented a seasonal camp site in New Gretna near Bass River State forest. Will be spending a lot of time in the area, probably till end of October .. Campsite is near Allen Road which seems to go on forever through state lands. Looking to try fall deer hunting in the area. Not looking to jump anyone’s spot just looking for a direction where to go scouting for a spot

Many good areas in southern Ocean County, try looking at Stafford Forge WMA, light pressure during bow season , pressure increases around the water with duck season. The fields off Rt 539 are always a good spot for spotting deer. If you take the road next to Lucile's to the east you'll find deer around Chevy pond and the eight mile branch. For more ideas shoot me a PM

A word to the wise......is not necessary, save it for the stupid ones!
