    Archery Questions

I just made the switch to 4 blade fixed Slick trick broadheads from grim reaper mechanicals. My arrows are fletched with 3 2” raptor vanes. Aside from aligning the blades to the vanes, should I be shooting larger fletchings? Can I shoot with 3 or do I need 4?

Your good. If your bow is semi tuned, and field points are hitting where you aim, leave your set up be as is.
With that said, you should still test the mechanicals before hunting

Like BOONER said, assuming they are the same grain broad heads, dedicate 1 new slick trick to a few shots at your target!

Slick Tricks are known for field point accuracy. You need not align vanes with the blades. That's a fallecy.

Aligning blades to vanes does absolutely nothing.

Appreciate all the answers guys. Seems like this site is finally coming around again. I just got back from the range, i had to make some minor adjustments to my sights but I think everything is dialed in good. I only shot to 30yds but the slick tricks grouped right up with my field points

You do not have to have your vanes aligned with the blades on your broadheads. That's the most ridiculous myth possible. It's all about tuning and form.
