high and forward waite at least 5 hrs, mid way and low body and just forward of shoulder 2 hours. if your talking low low and forward briskitshot track slow be ready for the deer to pop up in front of you. if ya can bring someone with you to help with tracking. happened to me years ago, was thankfull to have my buddies with me.
Just when ya think ya knew it all, ya find someone who does know it all

Did you hit a deer there or are you thinking to shoot a deer there? You really didn't answer or give any more details.

    Double lung: 15 minutes.
    Single lung: 2 hours.
Gutshot: As long as you can. 6 hours minimum.

Anything else you have to play it by ear. Always wait as long as possible. A dead deer doesn't go anywhere. (unless someone else takes it).
