there are no stupid questions when you need help in a hunting matter,i asked a question on putting up my first ladder stand and the help i got and the tips were so helpful it made putting the stand up very easy and safe, make sure your wearing enough orange and don"t have and pheasant load on you, hunt safe and good luck.

You can legally use slugs without a scope, but a scope will increase your chances of hitting where you want.
You can use the Clinton rifle range off 78 to pattern your gun.

Thus i was confused if this meant hunting at all on those WMAs, or specifically targeting pheasant. It is clear one is needed to possess a pheasant, but i was unclear if i needed one to hunt on those WMAs in the first place, even though i am not pheasant hunting. Thank you for the clarification.
Pheasant season is closed during 6 day firearms anyways, so your good not matter what pheasant fields you are hunting in. You can always PM me as well with any hunting questions. A lot of guys on here aren't always the friendliest when it comes to helping others with specific hunting reg questions and I am not sure why since we are all suppose to be on the same team. So feel free to ask away I'd be happy to help!

at least the way i interpreted the regs you must have "an adjustable sight or scope" on your shotgun....mine just has the standard rail/bead

Rail and bead doesn't count as a fixed site. You need at least a rear V site with a post front, not a bead. Go to a sporting goods store and have them explain it. To many different answers here, some are correct others aren't
