PV216 dude, we def. have to get together.i am so busy now with work , school, and i am getting married in jan. but we will def get together. you may have to come up with me next year to pa.
I am a solo hunter, just because of things like that. For me my partner was hunting the hell out of our spots and not telling me he was taking deer and I would wonder why I would not see anything. Solo is better, although I does miss the camaraderie.
I usually get stuck hunting by myself too. Up until to the morning we are supposed to go out, my buddy is all about going. I wake up at 4 and call him and he'd rather sleep. It's frustrating to say the least.
If anyone wants a partner up here in sussex county let me know. I'm new to hunting and could use someone I can learn a thing or 2 from.
toms river is this guy married or what ? my hunting partners wife starts getting sick the day before we are going hunting its guaranteed never fails .and as far as their kid goes she responds oh that's great what am i supposed to do with her,,how about (BE A MOM)...i feel your pain brother
YEAH, What Deadbolt said.Sorry to hear it bud! More deer in the woods for you!
I enjoy hunting with others but the last few seasons I have grown to love hunting by myself mostly due to bow hunting! The freedom is great but I do miss the company now and again!
Company is GREAT and if you have work to do many hands make light work as they say but I hate being dependant on others or having another guys inability or un reliability effecting either my judgement or efforts. DIY and share the hunt AFTER THE FACT.
Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
I am tired of the lies and crap, YOU by your own actions must make your own life matter!
Oh yeah, you'll have all kinds of time and getting out in the woods more (note sarcasm)i am getting married
I'd have to say that I've been able to hunt with someone this year about 50% of the time (alot more than last year). It's weird. In some ways I prefer to go by myself, mainly because I like to be in my stand earlier than most people do. But for the most part, hunting with friends is always better.
NJ... Where fun comes to die!
I dont like people for the most part,so hunting w/ them is always a hassle.I prefer to hunt alone
