    They should just open fall bow in Sept for either sex. After all, you only get 1 fall bow buck tag anyway...what does it matter if you fill it in Sept instead of Oct (if at all)? If they did this, they wouldn''t have to worry about phantom does being checked in and A LOT less button bucks would be taken in order to get a buck tag! Is it just me, or does that make sense to anyone else?

    That was my suggestion to them, makes too much sense to happen though.

    Doesn't matter to me, but seems like it's gonna be doe's only. They should just start the season in October like it used to be. September is too warm for me, but, to each his own.

    I am with SlugsnArrows a 100%, the main reson I go early is to try and get a nice one still in Velvet, I can get meat and rack in reg season, not as hot or as many bugs, I was after the real prize, the velvet on the wall.
