I tried an emergency fix using what I had - PVC cement. Worked for one day.

It's a crack/seam hole at the top of the boot where it flexes with the top of the foot. Thinking bicycle repair kit but doubt the patch will hold up well. Or a very strong sealer.

    Thanks in advance!

Shoe Goo. I used it on my rubber knee high boots and it sealed them up great

yep, shoe-goo is the ticket, been using it for over 20 yrs, stays flexible even in freezing weather. If its a big tear, you can either hand sew a few stitches ir use an inner tube to help patch.(also works well before a tear to reinforce knees/shins for wading through debris or walking through reeds and brush)

Shoo goo or aqua seal. Shoo goo is way cheaper and works damn good. I just fixed my work boots with it and this last summer I had a razor cut through my fattie bike tire. It left a one inch gash. It holds up to 80 psi. The bike shop guy said it was trashed. I said we'll see about that and put shoo goo inside and out and it's still on the rubber that hits the road! I ride all the time too. I've used aqua seal on waders and that stuff is awesome also. I seen a display for it where they cut a hole out of neoprene then cut another 1/4 inch off the piece in the hole so it left a space around the whole circle of neoprene and put it back together and it's just as strong as if it where a solid piece. Oh yea with aqua seal you get about 2 oz with shoo goo you get 7 for half the price. Aqua seal hardens up a little while after you open the tube leaving a lot of waste where the goo does not for some reason.
