    Is anyone going to be hunting bear from the ground ,without structure ,to get closer to their bait pile?

    One of my bait piles is 60 yards from a blowdown-I'll sit in the root mass. But its a back-up stand. My primary bear bait is being hunted from a ladder stand 105 Yards from the bait. And yes Angi I verified the distance with a laser range finder so don't get your knickers in a twist

    do the garbage cans on my front porch count as baiting..i could shoot one while taking a dump......if i see a big'un i may shoot it since ill be on the ground against a rock anyways hiding from the guys driving deer..
