Not sure if I'm just the last one to find out about this, but you can use "My Maps" feature in Google to see how huntable a piece of land is. You have to have a gmail account to use my maps btw. Once you get to the location you want to look at click the my maps feature-it will give you a choice of a few different tools-one is a line drawing tool where you can click on a point to begin the line and then another point to end it. The tool will measure how long the line is. Basically, you can find a patch of woods, start a line at the back of a house, shed, barn, etc...that you see on the satellite view and measure 450' (or 150') to see how much huntable land there is.
