I've been seeing a lot of deer sign, and have photos of good size bucks in Winslow wma. But have not seen anything since season started. Any other areas you recommend to hunt where I can stealth in and out? (both photos inside the WMA.)

If you're hunting edges they tend to migrate to the unhunted local property. I'm on private in zone 65 & a lot of mine pulled a Houdini too.

Bucks will start popping up. just keep feeding the does an they will show up. I don't hunt that area but take a drive around and look for standing corn. if there is some that's where your bucks are at. once its cut they will head for either swamps or suburban back yards. Nick

Acorns are down here, but this past week has been little to no action. Full moon? Warm weather? Took a doe in WMA last year, and want to fill the freezer again.

Don't tease me like that! I drive through that area every Friday on the way to my set in Z47. Good luck, hope you get your target.

Little experience with jersey hunting per say, ( from northern Michigan) use to pulling off the side of the road and hunting wherever I pleased....ever do that here?
