    Based on the time of your post on a Sat morning.... Cougars. They should have been rolling out of the beds they slept in after a long Friday night of searching the bars for prey. They can look pretty rough on a Saturday morning

    I have a wolf to mount and if this came in behind you, you would not have to even guess if it was a wolf or not, 175lbs of big dog, and not in N.J.

    It is said that the eastern coyotes are hybrid, with wolf dna in them. So the coyotes you saw could've definitely been larger than the average yote

    I know a guy who hunts that zone,last year he had yotes follow him out of his stand,back to his truck one nite,spooked him good!

    At my trappers course there was a guy that wanted to get his trapping license to snare wolves. I was like , dude , really ?
