Hunting Wawayanda SP, nothing moving 6:30 to 10, sw wind picked up, loads of nuts falling. Corned stand yesterday, checked camera at other stand, 1 Doe since Tuesday. Been seeing 3YO 6 pt all summer, several big Doe . Hope weather cools this week, these blue sky sunny days are getting old. New knee works well, time to hunt again.

Zone 3 Wawayanda update, had a couple bow shots, missed a big doe with longbow. Shot a 5 pt last day regular, as usual started looking pushed it into thick mountain laural. Bear got there before me. The park this year way to many bear, it was a daily experience seeing and walking into them. Even predator called aggressive Mama 150yards from friends stand to me. That was cool! ML Monday someone shot right up from me 3 doe came running by, must of missed. Ice under 10-12" of snow beats you up.

years ago fish and game considered highland lakes and waywayanda ground zero for highest bear density in the state.
