I know it's only a 7pt but he's prob got the biggest body of any of the bucks I have on cam and I suck at aging deer but he looks older? Would you shoot?

And just like most bucks in the area, he's looking up, he knows the season is anyday now

    Nice buck. That's a mature deer. I'd guess 3-1/2.

That's what I was thinking too. And yeah I thought his eye looks funny too, maybe blind in one eye? I sure hope so
Also the deer are tearing the ground up in this pine grove, not sure what they are eating but the whole place is hammered. I hung a stand and cam last week and have a few does and this guy only once

at least 4 or 5 years old considering it appears to be a pine deer maybe older. look at the size of his hooves and how long his snout is . fully developed shoulders sway belly. Great deer. Shoot. Also another cool think about this deer. his kill zone is kind of highlighted by his coat. His dying to get shot
No matter what happens, whether you succeed or not, if you stand up and do it right and pay attention, hunting will always give you what you need. It may not be what you were looking for, but it will absolutely be important enough to justify whatever you did to get it.”
