This has been a tough season for me.I hadn't seen a shooter since the 4th day of the season, and every night when I came home my kids were at the door waiting to see if I scored.Last week after another buckless night hunt, my daughters greeted me at the door with a necklace. They called it "The Lucky Buck Necklace".They told me if I wear it tommorow I'll shoot a buck.Talk about pressure.I didn't sleep all night,I had to score in the morning even if I had to shoot a 3" one horned spike.I headed out early sprayed some buck bomb estrus on my drag and then in my moc scrape. At 1st light I saw 2 scrubbers chasing a doe out of range.then a basket 8 followed my trail and hit my scrape giving me a perfect broadside shot I drew on him but decided not to shoot.10 minutes later this guy showed up and the mx3 put him down. You should have seen my kids faces when I pulled in the driveway. The necklace is on his brow tine
That's a horse!
oh, and, how much for one of those "Lucky Buck" necklaces??

"While even the ethical hunter may never enjoy the full approval of the non-hunting public, the public may at least tolerate them. And as public awareness of the hunter's significant role in conservation increases, anti-hunting sentiment may recede.
