Nice to get out again and get ready for the season. .....A lot of guys treat chuckers like trash, shoot and discard. When I had a gsp I liked getting them in addition to a couple pheasants. They always seemed to hold well and I think they tasted fine.

Is there only one training area where they released birds in the Glassboro WMA? What kind of do do you have? Can't tell from your avatar?

They release in the dog training areas which usually have a sign by the fields stating dog tracing area.

I saw one area on the main road from Fries Mill road on the left about 1/3 mile in. It's a fairly large area and my year old Springer Spaniel didn't pick any up. She has pheasant scent down but not chukar. Need to find an area where there are decent numbers.

The entrance off of fries mill drive down that dirt road past the boulders or pipeline there’s a field on the right and across from that there is two fields but heavy thick saplings are infront of those two fields making them hard to see
They are the primary dog training areas.
Saturday morning right at sunrise is your best bet.
You could try early Sunday as well but the later you go the more chance the birds have been pushed into the thickets by people.

Thanks, that was the area I was in but went about 10:00 am the first Saturday. They must not put too many birds out. I went in those fields a number of times last year Pheasant season and usually only got up 2 or 3 birds on stocking days.
