    Board ot train

Need to work out of town during the week, Have a just turned1 year old Gordon setter. I have no one to watch the dog during the week as my wife had just undone some surgery and will be staying with her Mom.
I am currently looing for a great place to board the dog for a couple of weeks Monday thru Friday BUt am also think about possible sending her off to school for some additional field training.
    Any thought or recommendations?

Just gonna say that I had boarded my GSP going back 9 years ago, he was also 1.... At my Vet. He had his own room, TV, etc. I made the mistake of getting the Pet cam. Just log in and see live feed of your pet. Brother, never again. Not saying he was mistreated, but nobody cares as much as us. All the best!

I made a very similar mistake about a dozen years ago, a 3 year old and a 1 year old went in the 2 best buddies, came out challenged each for food and everything else FOREVER, they were never the same, the biggest mistake was when my son was passing the place about the third day, he was not allowed to meet them, as it might disrupt their routine and stress them out. Big mistake on my part, should have pulled out right then and there. My wife wrote a bad review of the place, got a hand delivered letter advising her to take it down of get sued.
I have worked out with family to care for my dogs when I'm away on vacation, However this was not planned and I really don't have a choice this time. trying to work out details with a trainer right now, BUT that not an easy solution right now either.
