If I knew for a fact that a buck or two were still carrying their horns I'd hunt. I don't shoot does, but would love to go after a buck.
All the bucks dropped their horns around here.

I have not seen a shed buck yet this season. I did see one that got shot this year in december during permit shotgun and one horn fell off when it got shot
No matter what happens, whether you succeed or not, if you stand up and do it right and pay attention, hunting will always give you what you need. It may not be what you were looking for, but it will absolutely be important enough to justify whatever you did to get it.”

On private snow is great but on state property it just leads ppl to your spots
The act of killing is visceral .......

As long as it is 4 inches or less it's scouting/stalking party time!

Love the snow. Gives you new perspective on the trails, can spot farther, and, its SO quiet to stalk. Only hope I can get out Sunday.
