    Looking for 410 shotgun

    Grand daughter passed her hunter ed course and is ready to hunt , looking for a 410 ga shotgun for her to start with

    First off congrats to her and you. Now for the 410 part.. I seen alot of kids shoot and become frustrated with a 410 due to the small shot pattern. In short a 410 is considered an expert gun. If you are going to have her shooting stationary targets such as balloons or clay birds on a mound than 410 is fine.. but in a clay birds thrown or a hunting situation I reccomend a youth 20 guage auto.. you can buy a new stock when she needs it. As an auto with low brass she won't feel recoil and u can add a pad to reduce more... Just my opinion
